The ceiling of the stadium is supported by bowed beams that resemble the hull of a ship, and these beams allow light to enter the arena.
Capacity
This stadium in the southern city of Al Wakrah, which has a capacity of 40,000 and is also referred to as the Al Janoub Stadium, made its debut on May 16, 2019, when it hosted the final of the Amir Cup.
It is a component of a larger sports complex that also includes equestrian and cycling paths, as well as stores, restaurants, and athletic clubs.
